  Welcome to Beth el Binah!

Beth El Binah is a Reform synagogue with an outreach to the LGBT community. Based in Oak Lawn, we have met at the John Thomas Gay and Lesbian Community Center since 1993.

We have Shabbat services the second and fourth Fridays of the month. Fifth Fridays we have a potluck and discussion with the rabbi at a private home.

We celebrate all major holidays. High Holidays are at temple. Our temple Passover seder is catered at temple on the second night.

For Sukkot, we build a sukkah at a private home and meet there for dinner on night during the holiday. Channukah and Purim parties are held at a private home. For Shavuot we usually study and have a dairy meal at a private home.
